Lisa Cowie

Lisa has been at Twitter for 4 years and is responsible for forging partnerships with media agencies to conduct research that enhances the understanding of Twitter, as well as the advertising industry at large. As well as 1:1 engagements, she leads strategic initiatives that create value for agencies with data and insight. Her most recent project was an ambitious undertaking to mine 3.5 years of Twitter data to detect emerging cultural trends based on shifts in conversation.

Previously, she spent 10 years at Viacom working in various roles with her most recent being director of insight within the international ad sales division. Lisa earned a BSc in sociology and media from Loughborough University and also spent time as a post-graduate working at the Office for National Statistics. She is @LisCowie on Twitter.
