Vineet Mehra is a truly global business leader having lived-in and led diverse teams across North America, Europe, Asia and South America. Vineet's global career has had him leading multi-billion dollar organizations across a wide range of industries including a major P/E backed Consumer Internet Business, Consumer Health Care, and Beauty Care. He is currently the EVP and Global Chief Marketing Officer at Silver Lake backed Ancestry, the world's leading Consumer Genomics company, where he has been tasked with modernizing the marketing organization, elevating the brand to iconic status and taking consumer genomics into the cultural mainstream. He also holds full accountability for the delivery of Ancestry’s worldwide revenue target. Prior to Ancestry, Vineet held key leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson including Global President - Baby Care, where he was leading the transformation of their $3Billion flagship portfolio of brands, and Global President - Marketing Services, where he held responsibility for J&J's $2Billion+ global media budget. Previously, Vineet held major leadership positions around the globe for some of the world's most respected companies including P&G, Novartis and General Mills.
Vineet is a well-recognized leader having received numerous accolades and awards throughout his career. He has been named one of the World's 100 Most Influential Marketing Leaders, honored with P&G's Top 40 under 40 Alumni award, Chair of the Jury for the M&M Global Media Awards, and an Invited Speaker at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. His views and opinions have been quoted in prestigious publications such as the Harvard Business Review, Forbes and Ad Age, and has also been interviewed by numerous Podcasts including, most recently, The Un-Conventionals. Outside of work, Vineet sits on the Board of Directors of America Needs You - New Jersey, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting for the economic mobility of ambitious, low-income, first generation college students.
