Paul Birks-Hay joined Venables Bell & Partners in 2012 as Head of Client Services, before taking on the role of Managing Director and then Partner and President in early 2014. During this time, Paul’s been central to the agency’s exceptional growth and creative work for clients including Audi, REI, Trulia, Chipotle and PlayStation, while also championing the agency’s unique culture and commitment to independence.
Under Paul’s leadership, VB&P has been recognized as one of Ad Age’s Best Places To Work and included on their A-List, Adweek’s Breakthrough Agency of the Year, one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies, and earned the Titanium Grand Prix in Cannes in 2016. Prior to VB&P, Paul served as Managing Partner at AMV, BBDO in the UK, where he oversaw the new business department, as well as brands such as Guinness and Mercedes-Benz. He now lives in northern California, with his wife and son, who all count their lucky stars they traded London’s rain for the Bay area’s fog.
