Facebook, Isobar, and More: Wednesday Highlights for #AWAsia

 

The 2nd Edition of Advertising Week Asia kicked off again on Wednesday with featured Keynote speakers discussing a few of the industry’s biggest topics on the Keynote Stage.

Facebook’s Chris Cox explored why technology’s ability to bring people together has never been more important, and spoke candidly about the changing media world of today and where Facebook fits within it. Later, advertising all-star Chuck Porter of CP+B took the Keynote Stage to share how his extensive experience has led him to believe that invention, imagination and risk-taking are essential to successfully building brands today.

Isobar’s Jean Lin discussed creativity and why it’s intrinsic to a brand’s digital transformation and getting the attention of the next generation of consumers. Concluding the Keynote series for Wednesday, Google’s Dan Taylor took the stage to consider how using machine learning can help power a company's marketing by breaking through and making sense of the data.

The rest of the afternoon was filled with various programming events, as well as networking opportunities, such as the LinkedIn Daily Meet-Up and the AWAsia Connects Networking Cocktails, presented by AOL, which gave Delegates the chance to take a break in their day and enjoy conversation and networking to build future business relationships.

Thursday of AWAsia kicks off again on the Keynote Stage beginning at 9 AM with featured speakers Sarah Casanova, Malcolm Poynton, Jean-Marie Dru, and Stanislav Vecera.
