Advertising Week Europe began life in 2013 as the second global edition of Advertising Week. It was a continuation of New York’s signature annual gathering of world class talent from all corners of brand, media, marketing, technology and broader cultural communities to inspire thousands of attendees. Fast forward to 2018 and Advertising Week Europe celebrated its 6th year in the heart of London’s iconic Piccadilly Circus, bringing together more than 40,000 attendees across hundreds of seminars.
A new addition this year was the unveiling of TechX, a hands-on startup playground that brought together Europe’s top Mediatech and Adtech startups to showcase the latest innovations. As expected, after a tumultuous year, data, trust and privacy were key talking points. As was health and wellness. Failure was on the agenda too, but perhaps not in the way you’d expect.
